One of the suspects is His disciple Anand Giri. One of his brothers, Naresh Gaur, was arrested in March. The accused is accused of providing SIM cards to the other two co-accusedas part of a plan to end the sadhu's life.

On the other side, an influential leader of the Hizb-ul-Mujahideen terrorist network, who claimed to be responsible for the deaths of soldiers, was killed in a gunfight in Kulgam.
